Passengers aboard Virgin's Upper Class flights can enjoy a new menu that specialises in British produce while there will be a two-week menu of traditional British Christmas food to enjoy through the festive season. "We tasted a 'Best of British' menu earlier this year and our passenger feedback was so overwhelmingly positive that we decided to implement a year-long menu" commented Andrew Day, food and drink development manager for Virgin Atlantic. The award-winning Upper Class Suite consists of reclining leather seats for take off, the longest fully flat bed in the world complete with proper mattress, state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system and both a private onboard bar and private massage area.
