A snapshot survey of almost 200 PAs and secretaries has revealed that many administrative job titles are changing to reflect the increased responsibility of today’s office support professional. Almost a third of those questioned who were doing the traditional PA role, now had the title Executive Assistant – highlighting that many PAs’ roles are more akin to junior management. The research was carried out by la crème, and shows that many employers have realised that a PA is a vital role in any company and is often the backbone of a successful business.
