In order to attract and engage new talent to the workforce companies need to look at ramping up their CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiatives. One global study found that 57 per cent of the global workforce viewed a company’s reputation for social responsibility as an important factor to job retention, while in Australia alone this figure stood at 63 per cent. With skilled shortages and competition for talent still raging in the workplace companies would do well to shout about their ethics in order to let potential candidates know their commitment to the environment.
