Brits have voted Melbourne Cricket Ground one of the Seven Sporting Wonders of the World. The 150-year old, 100,000-seat stadium sneaked in at number seven, unsurprisingly considering Australia’s largest stadium’s triumphs. The grounds have played host to many high profile, international sporting events including the first ever Olympics to be held in Australia in 1956, the 1992 World Cup Final in cricket and the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

If you fancy holding your next event in such a high profile venue you’ll be pleased to know that MCG has a range of event spaces which can host anything from 30 delegates up to 1,000 guests.
